What is one word that describes you perfectly?
Determined or Creative.

What advice would you give to the next generation of female leaders?
My biggest advice for the next generation is to be unapologetically YOU! Each of us is made unique in our own way and we each have something special to share with the world. Also, to remember there is enough room for all of us to shine and be successful in our own ways. Whatever business idea or dream you may have for your life, take the risk and trust the process. Yes, you may stumble while you learn and figure out your way, but you will 100% be happier knowing you took the chance.

What makes you happy?
Family time and hanging out with friends always brighten my day but I also love being able to be creative and share my passion with others through my cookie company. Keeping a consistent workout routine also makes me feel great and helps keep me healthy both physically and mentally.

How do you measure success?
Success to me is 100% doing what you love and enjoying life along the way. I absolutely love owning my own business and being my own boss doing what I love and being able to connect with others who love what I do too.

What historical event inspires you the most?
There is not one specific historical event that comes to mind but personally what inspires me the most is my family. Both my parents own and operate their own businesses and so growing up it was very normal to my sister and I to be an entrepreneur and be your own boss. Both my parents come from humble beginnings and worked hard to be successful in their businesses, they always instilled in us that we could be anything we wanted to be and to work hard for the things we want in life. The older I got the more this made sense to me; their support, guidance and dedication to family are my biggest inspirations.
More recently I have also been very inspired by how many more small businesses have started during or before Covid, I love to see it and enjoy discovering new local finds. I am all about small businesses supporting each other in any way we can because no one else knows this journey of small business ownership like we do and because like I said, there is room for all of us to shine and be successful.

What is your favorite quote and why?

“Life is not about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself.” This quote has resonated with me from a young age, and I do truly believe we are constantly learning, growing and creating who we want to be as we age. We never can really go to a specific place to “find ourselves” per say but we are constantly experiencing new things that help us grow and learn about ourselves more to help create who we are and who we want to be in the future.
