What advice would you give to the next generation of female leaders?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve had to learn is to be confident in your skills and ideas, but be careful not to confuse confidence with arrogance. You have to be willing to accept a few things: Not everything you do is perfect, you are always going to have something to learn, and there are times when it is best to let someone else get the job done while you cheer them on.
What makes you happy?
Being a mom has changed my entire outlook on life and has made me the happiest I’ve ever been.
I like winning, so rewards help to motivate me toward success but success doesn’t always look like a certificate or a trophy. True success can be measured by simply self-reflecting and realizing that you are better than you were yesterday, a month ago or year ago.
