What word describes you perfectly? Compassionate
What advice would you give to the next generation of female leaders?
Keep your head high and walk in confidence. Don’t let what others may think or say about you ever overshadow the truth of who you are.
What makes you happy?
Seeing people overcome obstacles or hardships in their lives and begin living free.
How do you measure success?
I measure success by endurance. Success is not an outcome. It is an everyday choice to make the best of what you have with gratitude.
What historical event inspires you the most? The life of Jesus. His life’s example of deeply loving all people despite their past or present choices is how I strive to live my life.
What is your favorite quote and why?
“Music makes people more beautiful.” This quote is special to me because it was on a plaque of my mom’s in my home growing up and is now in my home. Music is a lifeline for me. It has gotten me through every season of my life. Each season there has been a song or an album that has communicated my feelings better than any words I could have mustered up. Sometimes music and lyrics can pierce and speak to hearts better than anything else in this world. Music can heal, encourage, bring joy or tears. Music makes people more beautiful.
